June 13, 2024 was an unusual day for the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Director General (DG), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

It was her birthday; unlike other birthdays, this one was special. She was awoken with surprises perhaps because it is a golden birthday— Okonjo-Iweala was 70 years old.
